What is NLC? NLC is a biweekly event designed to provide middle and high school students a safe, postive and fun environement to hangout.

How much does it cost? There is no cover charge. Our goal is to share our facility and provide parents and students in Triangle area a service, free of charge.

What organization sponsors NLC? NLC was founded and is operated by Emerge Student Ministries at Connections Church.

Why is NLC important to Connections Church? We realize that students have very little positive options for hanging out with friends. Our goal is to provide that alternative and help students make good choices and form healthy relationships.

Are video games and movies monitored? Yes, to ensure a positive message for students and the integrity of NLC, we review all video games and movies before approval. We do not use the traditional Rating System for making these decisions. NLC has its own policy.

Are there adult volunteers at NLC? Yes, NLC is a fully-chaperoned event. We have a fantastic team of adult volunteers who have undergone background screanings and are actively involved in the life of Connecitions Church.

Will there be snacks and beverages for sale? Yes, there will be a wide variety of snacks and beverages priced to cover cost (NLC Menu).

What are the general rules at NLC? We have worked hard to create a list of rules to ensure the safety of students and the integrity of this ministry (NLC Rules).

Will there be a pastor teaching? No. Although NLC is a ministry, and there will be Christian music and videos, we believe that we best demonstrate the love (and message) of Christ through our example. Our adult volunteers are committed to investing in the students, building relationships with them, and as God opens doors, share Christ. But we want our words to reflect what our lives are already saying.
